I was directed to this forum by an acquintance from BC. I registered there quite a while ago, but rarely posted, I live in a small town where there are many ethnies, the kind of place where the population is ten times in summer then in winter, many cabins, chalets and all. I'm an immigrant myself. I beleived in the go to america you'll do well over there, USA was not in mind, I'm a good worker but not in the elite part, a little over the minimum wage, I have an old car that works fine, does the job. I'm getting too old now to be a father but not quite enough that I could be a grand-father. This kind of town makes it a bit difficult to admit being gay, then impossible to admit being BL. I had a few young friends over a decade or a few, some are still around then some vanished from my life.Some were just friends and some were close friends. At this moment I have a 13 yrs old close friend, not intimately, but it seems he's always around when I wish him to be, I started a project, rebuilding an antique car, it's a very long process because it's expensive and looking for the appropriate parts is a never ending quest. I met him last summer and he started to help just for the fun of it, now it's too cold to work on the car but he's here regularly 3 to 4 days a week searching the internet for parts with me. That is if we don't just decide to watch a movie. He's starting to figure out that our friendship is intense and different. Once I mentionned the fact that as soon as he'd get a girlfriend, I would lose my helper, his asnwer was my car is his date ( that was a bit hard to swallow) then he added that myself at my age didn't have a girl, wife and all. I replied (I lied) telling him I once did back home to find out my character was incompatible with females, he just smiled ans added ohhh you too. This place seems more reasonnable then BC, I might give it a chance if you guys accept me, I don't think it would be wise to mention my original country of birth but in english I'm not at my best. But I'll do my best. SB |
