The Bleeding Drive

Lets assume you have pictures and video of your ex-wife and former family on an encrypted portable drive. You also have some programs on the drive to view the pictures and videos privately so your current wife doesn't see them and start a major fight.The wife is very computer savy and works in the field. But everytime you access a pic or video, some information bleeds onto the c drive...for instance it shows up in the current documents list...or when you use cc cleaner you see it created a temporary file.
Are there any programs that could installed on the potable disk that will bleed absolutely no information to the c drive when used? If not, is there any way to solve the problem of bleeding info?
