Copying Files

Step One-you create an encrypted container on your windows computer and open it
Step Two-You plug in an external drive with an encrypted container and open it
Step Three-You copy files from the container on the external drive to the container on the computer.
Step Four-you close both containers

Has the act of copying caused any traces of the files copied to remain outside the container on the computer?
