Asking that will just get you a bunch of biased replies, including mine! It's like asking what car you should buy; everyone likes the one he has. When I had to decide, I went for CentOS and haven't been disappointed. It's a freeware version of Redhat, and is very well supported by software. It installs easily, and the update procedure is fast and automatic. I did try Ubuntu, but never managed to get it to connect to the internet. Obviously, many people have done that. But I have little basis for comparison, since my experience is mostly with CentOS. All I can say is that it works for me. Somersault ![]() |
