I thought about the comment you made before I posted knowing that would be the case ... ya see, everyone will try to sell someone else on his favourite whatever, but most of the time they will also tell you WHY. :)

My roommate has told me that CentOS is more business orientated while (x/k)ubuntu is more orientated towards the person who is heavy into media such as movies, music ... etc.

So ... I am still wanting to find out what flavour of Linux is right for moi.
