[ --- inflammatory content removed --- ] Set up a Linux box. I use Ubuntu, whole disk encryption. No viruses, no malware, no piracy. There is a known issue with openssl which have been affecting Mac, as far as I know. This has to do with estabilishing secure connections. In a really simple way to put it, an attacker can inject data into a connection and manipulate it. I suggest you download the latest version of vidalia, on torproject homepage. Try downloading the test version which seems to handle this problem better. If you insist using windows, I suggest you try this package: ***http://www.torproject.org/dist/vidalia-bundles/vidalia-bundle-0.2.2.7-alpha-0.2.6.exe*** Now, for real man... download ubuntu linux, read about it, set it up and get running safer. You'll thank me once you get used to it. [ --- Webmaster's note: there are many versions of Linux. This poster is advising only. I suggest that posters use their own judgement. --- ] |
