Personal issues will probably keep me from posting again for some time. I won't go into details, but it's a combination of factors, the latest being that after my volunteer services were welcomed for a particular set of tasks, I just discovered that they've done an end run around me, which tells me a great deal. Coupled with my rapidly deteriorating health and the simple fact that no one professing to be a real friend will do anything more than saying how sorry they are, it really puts me in my place, which is nowhere. Sorry to have to leave you all like this, but I really can't take any more chances on rejection or confrontation.
