Good points.

I just automatically distrust anything with the word "Google" in it. My real point for asking was to see if anyone knew why they want you to d/l an application to do what others just let you see via your browser. As far as sending info on where I look, well, that happens a hundred times a day with other applications, so it's hardly unique. And no, I'm not afraid they'll search my HD or anything like that. In fact... I could run it on my Linux box, if they have a suitable version. It doesn't have access to any of the other computers on my LAN. Thanks SNAFU Quibble
