Where I live my heating is electric (water power) all winter, so having an extra CRT monitor on has no effect on my heating bills at all. In fact, some people do better because if they heat by oil, using a CRT monitor causes some of their heating to come from water power, which is good. But in summer it's a dead loss, fighting tooth and nail with the a/c. As for quality, I'm talking to you using a Hitachi CM753ET CRT monitor and it's sharper and brighter than ANYTHING I've ever used before. No incentive to change for that reason! BBTL |
